AW Stainless Steel Gold Color Evolution?

Hi. I remember the Gold color on the AW Stainless Steel changed from darker (more orange) to lighter (more yellow) tone around Series 5-6. Do you know if it is currently the same yellowish tone? Series 9 renders on Apple Store website seem darker toned than Series 7-8, but could mean nothing. Any real life comparison pics?
