AW Ultra feels like my AW4

Finally got my AW Ultra, slapped that bad boy on, took 5 minutes to navigate the new stuff and after that it is just on my wrist.

It is great that the transition is so seamless, no completely revamped UI etc just easy to navigate and use.
I really appriciate the fact i just keep going like i am normally doing without having the relearn the ropes of a new watch.

It does feel slighly more heavy on the wrist, the larger size does not really bother me, AOD is kinda odd to get used to from the AW4. Screen definitely is less sharp on the AW Ultra.

I like they keep it simple on the software side.

The most notable UI change was the ability to switch between grid and list. Other than that my wife was able to make a seamless transition from the S4 to S7 with out skipping a swipe.

I know there are some that prefer the rounded screen. My preference is the ultra.

The extra weight sensation will fade but will come back when you think about it or it comes up in conversation.

Enjoy

Thanks, i am still debating if i should turn off AOD, it kinda triggers some OCD after 4 years with the AW4. since i wear my watch under my sleeve atm it is on for no reason, raise wrists/tap screen is actually working great for me.

AOD still makes me feel a bit weird.

Lol, I turned it off. kept on thinking there was a new notification.

AOD was the reason I bought an Apple Watch (or waited to)
coming from the AW4, it’s one of my favorite features especially with the Clockology faces.
