The Hard Drive won't impact the frame rate, it will impact the loading times of the scenes. Once when the scene is loaded, you'll be fine.

My concern is in how well the 9400M ... holds up.

The 9400M isn't great, but as the article suggests, it's capable if you crank the resolution down.

Hi Flashing fi.

I am not worried about the HD affecting FPS. I am worried about its affects on gaming overall: streaming textures, laborous load times, etc. May not be a problem, but its a concern.

The 9400M is my reason for the post as it appears to do a good job. It was my main concern. I love my macbook but its not a gaming beast.... the gfx being designed for great composite desktop effects and battery life.

You do loose resolution. The article suggests 800x600.

The review from playing the game on the macbook is up. Its all bioshock specific, but there are some mac performance bits here and there.

Here is a quote
For those playing on the computer, some battles you will need a fast frame rate due to the speed of advanced enemies such as spider splicers. For those following our macbook bootcamp adventures, I turned effects off to gain framerate at various points in the game.
