I am itching to get an AW but decided to wait just a little bit longer to see when AW2 might be announced. I am hoping it's in March. Is that possible or are we looking towards the end of the year?

Wait another week and buy a watch. Then, if Apple announces something else you want on 3/21, return your watch and wait for the new thing to hit the stores in mid-April.

Personally, I am more eager to see WatchOS 3. I think that has the possibility of making this watch new again. Or I could simply be drinking the Koolaid!

I will say that the lagginess I've seen on the Watch lately and the problems I've had with Siri and voice to text transcription seem to have been solved by iOS 9.3 b5. And I'm hearing WatchOS 2.2 will do even more. Or there's that Koolaid again!

No, no, no. Nobody knows what we're looking at. People made the assumption that it was going to come out a year later, but nothing has leaked yet. Now, people are looking forward to the September event with more assumptions.

We will never know what's in Tim Cook's crystal ball. Buy the watch and don't worry about it. Enjoy.

I was convinced that we would see AW2 announce this month but not now. I think Apple are doing a complete redesign on the inside and outside.
This was their first stab at a watch and they will take away the lessons learnt and develop a much improved product

I think the chatter is more about the bands and much less about any new watch. My guess is that we'll not see any updates to the AW.

Of course we can only go with rumors/speculations. I've read about possibility of Smart Bands but have no idea what that means. What would Smart Bands do? Apparently there is something already built in AW which would somehow utilize Smart Bands.

The :apple:Watch also has a diagnostics port, however it is for..... diagnostics.
