My AW3 died the other day. Just dead. I might've bumped into something in NYC on the subway or on a train, dunno.

I bought that watch new, with cellular. I paid hundreds for the cellular but never really used 'it'. I found the watch was not good for much to be quite honest.

Then, in an effort to improve my health, and head, I started using it again a few months ago. I liked some of the reminders, it seems to talk to me. It (whoever was talking to me) was trying, e.g., reminding me to breathe, etc., but obviously this device is not an answer to all of our problems!

I did notice that workouts would launch on their own, and I was constantly having to undo these. And, more importantly, none of my exercise efforts 'sync' with Health, other than walking/steps. So, if I swim, bike, etc., this isn't recorded in Health.

I was not able to get sleep to work either, intuitively. Oddly, this function used to work! I updated the OS for the watch a few months ago and it was Helter Skelter, like Apple in general.

Now I have no wearable. I know the AW6 and SE are in mid-stream and a 7 is coming. Are any of y9ou without an AW wearable and are you going to wait? Has anyone recently bought a 6 or SE and been refreshingly happy with the experience?

I need help trying to get myself going, and while Apple and it's money machine is doing well in the markets, for shareholders, and users like me, and I do feel at times like the company is a mess and the developers behind everything are sloppy, this is all conjecture and only opinion not fact-based. I am an Apple lifer!

Any thoughts on recent AW experiences or thinking much-appreciated. Thanks.

Series 6 is my first Apple Watch and I absolutely love it. I have had no issues tracking health data and love getting notifications without having to take my phone out of my pocket. Unlock iPhone with the watch (for FaceID phones) has gotten rid of having to enter your passcode while wearing a mask and EKG as well as other features have been useful and appreciated.. As far as what you should do, that's up to you. Every new model offers improvements over the previous version so if you must wait to get the Series 7 for added features/performance and you can hold off having a wearable until it's released more power to you. If not, the current watches will be supported for years and possibly will get new features through software updates so you really can't lose
