Hi All,
Getting ready to buy an apple watch series 3 and am wondering if I need to increase my cellular data plan. What's been people's average monthly data usage on the watch? I'd use it for regular activities (email, messages, etc) mostly with my phone, except for working out--anyone have a sense of how much data say a 1 hour run or bike ride using mapping and music streaming would use?
Thanks in advance!

No, do not increase.:) After streaming music for a couple 40 minute runs this week, I have used .03G.

Had to go pull my AT&T bill. First full month with the LTE watch on this bill I just received. I have unlimited everything plan with 4 lines plus the Numbersync line for the AW3.

Have .01GB of usage with 12 messages and 5 minutes. I only use LTE on runs and short motorcycle errands, but I do receive plenty of emails, texts, short calls, news alerts even in one hour. I would suggest rolling the dice the first month. Presumably worst that could happen, if it's like my last plan, is you'll hit the next tier of data usage and be charged a flat fee. You can then decide if you want to up it regularly or if your additional use won't put you over.

Interestingly, my AT&T add for the AW3 is $10, plus $4.66 in "other charges and credits", so $14.66. Worth it to me not to lug the 7+ but stay connected.

Billing cycle started Nov 19 I have used 2.56 GB on AW3 LTE. I workout/run daily for 45 mins, no phone and streaming Apple music.
