On my Apple Watch 4 SS 44mm when I turn the crown I am unable to swipe from the right hand side (crown side), left side works, right side doesn’t. If I press the crown I am then able to swipe from the right again.

Tried it on watch faces, and the app screen, and in apps.

Swiping up and down, along with from the left works perfect.

I tried swapping orientation so the crown is the opposite side, same issue swiping from the crown side after the crown is rotated.

Swiping from left and right works perfect if I don’t turn the crown, has anyone experienced this?

Surely it cannot be a hardware issue, so think it may be a software glitch with my watch.

I setup from new and didn’t restore a backup.

Other threads on this (sorry, no time to search) indicate this is software design due to edge to edge display and not allowing inadvertent swipes with fat finger while operating the crown.

Yeah sorry, I edited my post shortly after saying I’d found out why it occurs. Cheers.
