I have been disappointed with the battery on my AW6 and specifically it seems to lose battery when bit in use.

I do not sleep with it so at at night I put it in flight mode with the always on display off and it will drop 10-12% of battery just sitting on my bedside table doing nothing. In general use too it seems to drop quicker than I expected and certainly worse than the last apple watch I had which was the series 4

It was on 88% when I woke up last this morning. I have only wore it for 3 walks (5 miles so around 1.5 hours). It has otherwise sat on the table all day. It is 8:30 pm here and it just hit the 10% warning.

Edit: 10 minutes later after putting it on and checking the battery health (100%) it is now 7%!

turn off your background refresh apps and notifications on your iphone and watch that you don't need; Try that before turning off things like Noise and Breathe if you want those functions; I am testing different things and just got 8% drop in about 5 hours time;

I am usually charging it in the evening, it comes off the charger around 11pm and waits on the table for the next morning 06:30am. Loss is in about 4-5%. General behaviour for an S4/5/6 here for about 3 years now. No difference regarding the different series.
Rarely it drops about 12% and runs down quicker than normal during the day as well. A restart helps in these cases.
Not turning off anything - but I do not have a lot of background tasks running. Battery health for all the watches is around 98%
