AppleCare until 9/7/24 on this watch that has 80% battery health. I'm still happy with the watch but would love to have a little more longevity out of it. Will they service it just 80? Is there something I can do to stress it down to 79?

If I happen to trip down the stairs and break the screen (yes I'd end up paying the $69 but then have a brand new crystal), would they go ahead and service the battery anyways?

AFAIK, Apple will provide you with a refurbished Apple Watch instead of replacing components.

Can't you just monthly extend the AC+ and use it when the battery actually needs replacement? And you will of course have all the coverage too.

The watch will give a "Service battery" warning when it reaches that point. And that won't be disputed by Apple either.

You can contact apple and ask, they’ll likely tell you it has to be below 80.
you can extend AC+ monthly after the initial expiration date, then when battery drops below 80, follow the process and afterwards cancel AC+.
