Awaken app - issue with headphones/built-in speakers

i have an imac and just got the awaken app recently for setting alarms to wake me up in the morning. problem is, im a gamer and constantly have my headphones plugged into my mac and the sound routed to them. is there someway to make certain programs (i.e. awaken) to use their sound only through the built-in speakers in case i forgot to switch my output before i go to sleep? thanks in advance.
