There are free issues available on the Car & Driver App for iPad. It's pretty neat. I currently subscribe to the print issue, but found out that the digital version is free on iPad. The content is the same but with more features. If you are a fan of cars, try this app. Though some of the articles are biased of course. Let me know what you guys think of the app. Thumbs up or down.

Or you can enter the car and driver content within Flipboard.

Sounds better than the iPad apps for Wired and Golf Digest that I have tried. Both require additional purchase of the digital content even as a subscriber to the print edition.

The Economist, on the other hand, allows subscribers to download complete issues once the register online.

Thanks, I've downloaded C&D last night. It's pretty awesome for the most part, except for lack of download queue and large size of each issue (about 300 MB).
