Found this really cool case for my ipad! I just needed something real simple, not flashy. Cannot wait to get it in the mail! I really the apple store would stock cases like this.

Isnt 45$ kind of expensive for a felt sleeve? I mean its nice, simple and soft but to be honest looks like 5$ of felt and 5 minutes with a sewing machine. It really woudnt be any good in the rain.

Still looks nice and simple though in certain circumstances :)

With a sewing machine, it wouldn't even take 5 minutes. Sewing it would take about 1 minute. Cutting the felt pieces to size would take couple of minutes once you have the right size figured out. Indeed, it's a VERY easy job. I didn't have a sewing machine so I hand-stitched mine. Because I don't have wool felt, I bought a Sham-wow ($1 at the dollar store!) and made my own case! :p I even made loops on the sides of the case to facilitate inserting and taking the iPad out. I copied that idea from Waterfield Designs and their "suede jacket" sleeve for the iPad. http://sfbags.com/products/ipad-cases/images/ipad_suedejacket_ipad2_smartcover_lg.jpg
