Awful bars suddenly all over my display please help !!!

Sorry but I'm totally freaking out right now, I have a MBP 17" 2007 model with 2.66 GhZ Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB RAM and GeForce 8600GT graphics.

I was working on Adobe Acrobat when it crashed for some reason. I restarted the computer and clicked on "Send to Apple" (error report) but it suddenly hanged on this screen with bars all over my display !

Please help !

nvidia graphics issue. phone apple. you don't even need apple care. happens to all macbook pros with the nvidia geforce 8600m

Thanks, I got it fixed last week. They replaced the GPU free of cost.
