Wow. Excellent site, thanks.

I'm sure MacRumors members are more than familiar with this site, but, for those who aren't...

InterfaceLift.com has GREAT wallpapers. They give you the option to save files at iPhone resolutions.

it's a good site for ringtones. it's just waste of money just to pay $2 to make your own ringtones.

you can create your own ringtones with garage band. why do you need that site?

The site has tons of already created ringtones that are in ".m4r" format. No need to cut, edit, or create anything. Just type in the name of the song and click download. Extremely simple.

as far as iPhone optimized sites go, deviantart.com's UI is pretty sweet, but the place has gotten a bit too anime/tattooed/goth centric for me.

sciphone's UI is good.

when it works, (which is increasingly rare?) this iphonecentric wikipedia is hands down the best...better than the wiki apps IMO.

There was a great site for iPhone sized artwork - from another thread - can't find it currently - any takers it wasn't Flikr.

THIS --> http://wapedia.mobi/en/ is the best iPhone wikipedia site IMO.

Could not agree more - especially about how it rarely works these days!

Not everyone has a maC.

You can of course use any audio editing program - Adobe Audition, for instance - to make ringtones. All you have to do is create your file, save it as an mp3 or similar file, import it into iTunes, change the format to MP4 (just right click and hit Convert Selection to AAC), then you simply need to use a program to change the file extension of the newly created file from m4a to m4r as in ringtone (I just temporary upload it to a server with an FTP client and then just change the extension by renaming the file), and then import that new file into iTunes (just drag and drop), and it will create a new category called ringtones (if you're on a PC), and then you can just sync that to your iPhone and use it as your ringtone!
