I didn't have the sound turned up, but it looks like someone just discovered the well-known fact that the Apple logo is just a cutout of the lid, and is illuminated by the screen backlight. A bright light can shine through that cutout from either direction, as some have noticed when using their Mac portable in direct sunlight. That's not exactly an "awesome trick". Did I miss something?

Not really a trick, I don't know why you want to use you screen via flashlight. Thats what backlights are for..... now hit command+option+control+8

what is this madness?

It is actually there for people who have bad eye sight to make things easier to see and read, but its not all that known and still a fun little trick, much better than using a flashlight to illuminate your screen lol. I mean seriously a flashlight? Now hold shift and minimize safari or any open application.
