What do you think is best to write a program Java program for the Mac. So far I have written a downloader program in the Cocoa-Java since it is so easy to make classes and hook them into the interface.

I'm putting it up so you can use it and get some feed back on it, see if people would be interested in such a program or use it for something else. Movie downloader or something. Just while its downloading, the interface hangs, but its still working, I haven't taken the time to make a status bar yet that will be the part that freezes so you can put another url in and possibly download another file at the same time.

If you use it, only use FTP or HTTP with full url (http and filename) then what you want to name it in the file spot, best to copy and paste the file name there. It can be pretty fast sometimes, I think it just depends on the server. It downloads into the / directory on the main disk, so just double click on the main hard drive on your desktop, and the file should be there.

Ok, its late, I'll add more if I remember it.
