I noticed from the pictures and videos that the Apple Watch Ultra have visible screws on the back of the case. Does this mean that the watch is serviceable (e.g. replacing the waterproof gasket) or easier to repair? Maybe iFixit will come out with a video soon :)

I'm assuming it is because you can't open the apple watch the same way as previous watches because the titanium case hugs over the screen so a new repair procedure is done through the rear now.

Oh wow. That’s actually pretty cool (in my opinion) that the waterproof seal is in the back for the ultra and that there are screws to get to it. That means that it can be replaced if the gasket starts to fail or degrade like it did on my Apple Watch Series 4. For me, this is a big pro in buying the ultra vs the series 8. I run 6 miles everyday and sweat eventually got into my series 4 and ruined the screen. Thank you so much davidhedge for the helpful video link!

All of the previous watches were serviceable. None of them, including the Ultra, are user serviceable.

I take back my claim. Taking the screen out is still through the front and looks like a nightmare.
