My AWU should be here on the 23rd. Charging puck (fast) included.
What is the wattage that is needed for "fast" charging from the power adapter?
Assuming it's 20W seems likely as I could not find this anywhere on the Apple site currently.
1) Is 20W correct?
How does USB-C divide the power from an adapter that, for instance, has 2 USB-C ports and 35W?
2) Does it split the wattage evenly between any two plugged in devices?
3) If a plugged in device only needs 10W there is no problem with the adapter being able to provide more? ie, no harm to the being charged device.
4) What happens when the being charged device is "full"? Does it just stop being charged, no harm, no foul?
5) Will the adapter figure out that another device can now use more wattage ?
Thanks.
