Hey y’all, I wanted to come on here and do a Q&A about my initial experience with the Apple Watch Ultra after having it for three days.

Why did you buy the Apple Watch ultra?

I guess like many of us on this forum I get excited for new technology, I like being the first to try something new. I remember getting the first big phone, the Samsung Note and just being excited for what was to come. I’m definitely not some super athlete who I know watch is marketed to. But I do work out four days a week.

What was my initial reaction after unboxing it?

I thought this thing is huge, I was worried it would look awkward on my fairly small wrist and would feel heavier than I would like. I did like the flat screen design. I was also worried that maybe I made the wrong decision in the watch I picked especially since the watches are hard to get in the 45 mm variant.

How was my first day with it?

Honestly, after day one I was fairly sure it was going to get returned. I actually started looking on Verizon and Apple to see what other variants were available.

What was your family’s reaction to the watch?

They thought it was pretty huge as well, but said it looked good.

What was the reaction after day two?

The watch no longer felt are looked huge anymore. The battery life honestly didn’t get me excited I finished with about 69% battery left but that was after doing a 9 mile walk and run workout and wearing it all day. Was still on the fence about returning it.

So three days in so what’s the verdict?

I’ve honestly fallen for the watch. Battery life has totally improved today. I’ve had it on from 10 AM to 8 PM and I’m barely down to 78% after walking all day at a theme park with almost 20,000 steps. I’m loving the titanium finish on the watch and that honestly is one of the best features of this watch in my opinion, the titanium definitely gives off a high quality feel. I had stainless steel before, but it always seemed to need to get wiped off. The watch definitely no longer feels or looks big on my wrist, and I’m still loving the flatscreen design.

So what I would say is if you are thinking about buying the Apple Watch ultra or you just received it to give it a few days and see how you feel after that
