AWU2 display flickering on wake / wrist raise

Running watchOS 10.0.1 on an AWU2, occasionally when the display wakes on wrist raise or when it auto-switches from dark to light mode some parts of the display / complications will flicker: it's like they briefly flash white/purple, just for a fraction of a second, then they're normal. It's infrequent / intermittent and I've not been able to reproduce it reliably or find any pattern that causes it. Anyone else seen this? I'm assuming software bug but thought I'd see if anyone else had seen it before I file feedback with Apple.

I notice a similar issue on auto mode when the watch wakes or changes from night mode to regular mode. I'm using an U1, so I assume it's software related. Not loving the auto mode anyway, it goes into night mode too easily/often.

I'm having the same issues since updating the software too. I have a U1.

Yep, I'm seeing this as well (Ultra 2). Some of the complications flash purple. Very weird. I also see the watch briefly flicker into night mode when I trigger a screen activation.

AWS9 I have the issue too. Spoke to support who had me do a reset and set up as new watch, didn’t resolve it (the photo with 2 circles is from just after the reset). They insisted on escalating it to engineering and I have a follow up call scheduled for Thursday.

I see the same thing from time to time. It's like one single frame of purple complication refreshes.

any updates? the flickering still occurs and the U2 watch restarted itself again. i saw a bright flash of a white screen and it went dark and restarted. never had this much drama on my launch day OG ultra i traded in for this one...

it seems that when the watch is on dark mode, it doesnt flicker. it only flickers when not in dark mode. im using the new modular face thingy

Still same on mine, but I wasn't expecting it to be resolved in a 10.0.X update, I think 10.1 is the earliest we can realistically expect this sort of thing to get addressed.
