I don't have an Apple Store close so have to order online. I've measured my wrist and it comes out to 155-165 depending on where I measure and how tight.

I currently have a AW7 with an milanese loop, if I have it as loose as I like to wear it casually the end is about 20mm from the watch.

I'm trying to make up my mind whether I should go for a small or medium Alpine loop?

For reference I've attached a photo how my AW7 sits.

Looking at your Milanese loop, I think I might go with a small loop unless you like all that extra wrap around.

My wrist is around 170mm I think, and when I wear a Milanese loop, the magnet is right near the middle of the back of my wrist.

When I bought my Ultra 2, I bought it with the small/medium Trail loop (only two sizes, either S/M or M/L), and also bought separately a medium Alpine loop. The medium Alpine loop seems to fit well, with the buckle right on the back of my wrist just short of midline. The small/medium Trail loop doesn't even make it half-way to the middle of my wrist. Probably should have ordered the medium/large but I was afraid that would have been too long and it would have wrapped almost all the way around like your Milanese loop. The Trail loop isn't really too small, technically, since there's still plenty of adjustment room, but the wrap is much shorter than the Sport loops that I'm used to or compared to the medium Alpine.
