I ordered a refurbished 2015 MacBook and it arrived this morning. However:

Fedex must have kicked this around a bit. Apple is sending a replacement out that will deliver on Tuesday.

That hurts my eyes...

At least you didn't have any issues with Apple. I would always dread them thinking I'd dropped it or something and was trying to wing a replacement...

Ouch, sorry to see that happen to you. When I ordered my my end 15 rMBP, When I open the box and there was a small ding at the bottom. It was small; just enough to see it. I went to the Apple store and show them the next day. The staff was very helpful. Luckily, they had one in stock and immediately gave me the replacement without any question. They even asked me if I would like to unbox the new one and inspect the new one and making sure I am happy before I go home. I did and I was very happy.

Bummer....

Apple is awesome about stuff like this though.
I sent back a new iMac 5K due a new released version last fall......Fed-ex lost the package.

I called Apple and they immediately sent out my new iMac and said they would deal with Fedex as they didn't want the customer to have to mess with it.
Got to love support like that.

That's why I only purchase directly through Apple......for the immediate support.

They lost something the size of an iMac... Christ I'm amazed they don't lose their own trucks! :p

My new (refurbished) MacBook arrived today. No dents. Pristine box. It had a completely discharged battery. I began charging it with the included charger and cable while setting it up. I then switched to a USB-C to Micro-usb cable and a multi-port charger (Orico) and the Orico is charging it while I continue to work - but at a slower rate.

Many years ago I came home to my Mac delivered on the other side of my locked fence. Must've been fun for the delivery guy to toss it over the fence (cringe). Another time an honest neighbor from a dozen or so houses up the street brought my Mac that was mistakingly delivered to their house.

Both deliveries made by UPS at two different locations.

Very honest neighbour. Rare.
