AX with printer+hard drive

Hey all, I want to connect both my printer and WD home hard drive to my airport extreme so that they can be both accessed on my network.

My question is, does the USB hub I use have to be POWERED, or can I use a non-powered hub. The non-powered hub would be a lot more convenient, and cheaper, so thats why I want to know. Anyone use a non-powered hub on their airport extreme? Thanks!

as long as your drive is self-powered you should be fine, if you were to add several bus powered devices, you might run into problems with an un-powered hub.
