I figured it's time to explore the wold of bittorrent. So, I downloaded Azureus from the official Sourceforge site, the latest OSX version. When I click on the Azureus app, it launches an updater. I click to download, and after a few seconds, an error message pops up:
"Version 2.0 of plugin 'azplugins' failed to install - /Volumes/Azureus 2.4.0.2/Azureus.app/Contents/plugins/azplugins/azplugins_2.0.jar (Read-only file system)"
I restart and the same thing happens repeatedly. When I left it on for a few hours without restarting, the forced seeding was showing good speed. Why the error message?
My firewall is off, and I configured Azureaus to the suggested defaults, and the TCP listening test checked out OK, so I don't think it's my router (plus, the forced seeding health status shows green). Any ideas why I'm getting the error message? Sorry if this seems stupid, I'm new to this...
