Hi all,
Just wondering if anybody could help me with Azureus 3.0.1.6 (or Vuze as it's now called). I had it working fine, if a bit slow, then it just stopped on me.
I'm using a Power Mac G5 Mac OS X 10.3.9 1.8GHz with 768 MB RAM.
When speed testing I have download speeds of 2472 kbps and upload speeds of 258.
I've read a lot of the material at Wikipedia and followed the instructions at http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Good_settings but while I can locate the Tools -> Options ->Transfer settings on Azureus and input the correct info for the 256 upload speed column, when I click "save" it will not save my all settings, flipping the max download speed back to 25 to match the upload speed.
As I understand it this is not a good thing, and to increase download speeds it should be set to 0.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and does anyone know a way to fix it?
Before I was getting close to 80kbps, now I'm back down to 20. (And I still don't know why I can't get closer to my actual download speed at least some of the time - although I appreciate the whole p2p concept and some of the restrictions involved).
Many thanks.
Senro
PS I have green health, no problems with NAT or ports or anything like that.
