I just thought I'd let everyone know.
I ordered an X800 for my G5 on the 4th of December and found out most, if not all, of the newer ones manufactured during the past few months have had issues -- supposedly due to overheating. So I emailed B&H asking them what part number they had in stock, and, sadly, they didn't know the part number they were shipping out (only MFR# and their SKU), so I asked them if I could return it. Well, they were cool with that; I haven't even opened their shipping box! I quickly phoned B&H customer service and it took less then 1 minute to get someone to answer the phone (like Apple use to be
), and while he was setting everything up I asked if I had to pay return shipping, he said to hold on. After he came back on the phone -- a few seconds -- he said I wouldn't need to worry about that.
I had a great experience with B&H, but I wish I would have given the card a shot. But meh. B&H just pulled the X800 off their shelves, as did ATI, so I didn't want to take any chances.
