I'm running 10.4.11.

I've got one volume on which I can't re-save modified files, save new files, change filenames, etc., in short, anything involving writing to the disk. Except file label colors — those I can change.

I get Mac error -50, "Error in user parameter list." I don't know what this means.

Permissions are 'Read & Write' for me, owner, group (I'm the only one who uses this computer); 'Read only' for others.

What do I need to do to teach this volume to accept new files? There are two other volumes on the same disk, they seem to be fine.
