When the term "Apple just seeded" the OS is use, what exactly does the term refer to?

Is it another term for an update or is a term used by developers?

Thanks,

Hi there. First off don't try and use HTML of UBB tags in your title: the system does not allow it and they end up looking silly!

Apple "seed" releases to paid up (not free member) Developers to test before the full release to the public. It is common for them to release multiple seeds of the same release to the developer community as bugs get fixed in the release before it's ready for public consumption.

Thanks, it now makes sense to me. I thought that it had something to do with developers.

Sorry about the HTML mistake.
