Researched photo color scanners for a few months, have a few hundred (maybe 1000) photographs to scan. After researching, choices were between the Epson Perfection V600 and V700 Photo Color Scanners. Reviews were tops for both, the V700 besting in slides/negatives which I won't be scanning and a higher D-max. With a price difference of ~$400 I went with the V600, will be using VueScan.

I've worked in digital (and analog) photography, advanced in post-production (will be using PhotoShop CC). Looking for any suggestions or things I may have missed.

Thanks! :)

(I've used ScanCafe for ~600 scans at $129, but I like control with post-production, although a great service esp. for the price)
