Hello All,

Here at work we have a B&W @400MHz that is our FileServer (and nothing more). The 9GB drive in it is close to maxing out, and my boss wanted to throw in another drive. I thought this would be an easy task...

I cracked open the case and first thing, there is NO drive attached to the motherboard, as was the case with my own B&W. The internal 9GB drive is, instead, attached to a PCI card, so I think it may be Ultra2 SCSI (please correct me if I am wrong).

I wanted to add a regular 4GB 68pin SCSI drive (which is good and has just been lying around), but am wary of this... do I add it and make it a slave drive? Does it have to be a slave drive if the original 9GB drive is Ultra2 SCSI?

If more info is needed, just ask and I will get you an answer... not sure what else to add here.

Any help appreciated~!
