B4 updating to ios6, what should I do ensure I can later restore to ios5 w/ redsnow?

Currently have a 4s and want to update to ios 6 and try it out.

What should I do now before updating to keep the option open of restoring back to ios 5 with redsnow later down the line if I don't like it?

Brand new to this. I've heard something about saving "blobs"? Not sure that that means :confused:

Anything else?
