Hi everyone! I created an app for the Apple Watch that can track your baby's care. You can record breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping and diaper changes, and also add reminders. The glance view lets you see your last two entries, and the time remaining until the next feeding time.

If you are a new parent, I hope you will try it out and let me know what you think! I am adding new features all the time, so please let me know if you want any features added.

The download is free, and there is an in-app purchase, but I will send you a coupon code to use it for free. If you send me a message from inside the app, I will send you the coupon code. Just mention you found it on MacRumors. :)

You can find the app by searching for "Baby Loggy" in the App Store.

You can also visit this webpage for more information.
http://www.babyloggy.com

Here is the link to download it from the App Store.

I hope everyone enjoys using their new Apple Watch!
Thank you for your time.
Alex

can you set alerts, like to take the milk out 1 hour prior to feeding?

I have not thought of adding that feature before. Currently, you can set a reminder that will alert you when it is time for the next bottle feeding. But it does not alert you 1 hour prior to the feeding time.

I can definitely add that feature in the next version of the app. I could either add an on/off switch to remind you 1 hour before the next feeding time. Or I can provide a second reminder setting when you create a bottle feeding entry.

Thank you for sending me your feedback, it really helps me to improve the app.

Is there a start stop feature to record sleep time?
We use this the most in our current app, and would be an amazing watch feature to have.

I do not currently have that feature in the watch app. But will add it! :) I am rapidly adding new features to the watch, and timers are included.

The main app on the iPhone has a timer to track sleep times. But I agree it would be cool to have this on the watch too!

I like the idea of leaving your iPhone on the night stand, and entering all your info through the watch, especially when you have a baby to handle! I appreciate your feedback, it helps me know what features to focus on first.

I do not have a kid (that I know of), but just wanted to chime in and say that looks really nice from the screenshots.

Good luck and thanks for being awesome to the Macrumors crowd!

Haha! Thanks! I am just an individual developer, hoping I can create something useful. I have been following MacRumors for a while, especially when I am waiting for my new iDevice to arrive! I thought it would be nice to offer something here for free.

No problem, my daughter gets distracted when my phone is around, and grabs for it. I swear she has a sixth sense for when the phone comes out, because she'll instantly wake up.
The watch is much more discreet, and also being attached, makes it less likely that my daughter will grab it and then launch it across the room. haha.
I'll keep an eye out for updates, but looks great :)

I have the Apple watch. I love it but I really didn't get it to be a fitness tracker.

There is an option to chose "Workout" but the preset selections are: Other, Indoor Walk, Outdoor Walk, Outdoor Run, Outdoor Cycle, Indoor Cycle, Elliptical, Rower and Stair Stepper. That's all. I typically choose Other just to get a general idea of the calories burned. It'll tell you the active calories, resting calories, total calories, average heart rate and total time. Only the active calories count towards your 'goal' for the day. (It comes preset as a goal of 500 but you can change that. The exercise goal is 30 Minutes and you can't change that.) It does sync to your iPhone so you can read the results on there. It also tells you the calories you expended for the day, the total steps and the distance.
I've only ever used a heart rate monitor with a chest strap prior to the watch and I find the results from the watch are basically the same.
As I said, I love the watch, but I feel as a fitness tracker there is definitely room for improvement.
