Hello to all

We have recently released new app called Baby Monitor 3G. It is the first baby monitor app, which works over any type of internet connection - not only wifi like other baby monitor on App Store, but 3G, EDGE, etc...

Here is video introducing the app:

Screen%20Shot%202012-02-21%20at%2023.47.57%20.png

Main features:

you can hear your baby - thanks to our state-of-the-art algorithm for voice and microphone volume adjustment you can hear your baby even when it is not close to the device or when it is crying softly.

2-way communication to your baby – it is possible to talk with your baby from the parent’s station

can display exactly what is happening in your baby’s room – using the built-in iPhone/iPad camera

it is reliable – it constantly monitors the connection between the parent’s station and the baby station, and notifies the parents immediately when something goes wrong. It will even reconnect to another network should the first network drop.

it is easy to use – easy to configure and even easier to use.

it works with any network. You are no longer limited to just one Wi-Fi network, as with all the other Wi-Fi-based Baby Monitors available in the App Store. Each device can connect to another network with no limitations on distance.

Available on Itunes for starting price$3.99: http://itunes.apple.com/app/baby-mon...7681?ls=1&mt=8

More information: http://www.babymonitor3g.com

We are looking forward for your comments about Baby Monitor 3G;)

It's useless if you don't leave an iPod touch or iPhone or iPad at home. Has anyone considered creating a simple baby monitor with WiFi capabilities and maybe an optional GSM antenna for those times when the parents are not around WiFi?

I agree totally. Not everyone has iPhone or iPad at home. I prefer Bt Baby Monitor 150 rather than this one. Its Cheap and features are good as well.:)

Hi

Thanks for your feedback.

Baby Monitor 3G has great value for people who already own two iOS devices. It is very useful for example while travelling with your baby - you don't have to think of taking any hardware monitors with you.

Also you don't have to worry about distance limitations of hardware baby monitor or about signal interference. The app is also much cheaper the HW devices.

Also 3G support is advantage - You can have one device in child's room connected to wifi while you are resting in the garden, having second device connected over 3G.

For those, who don't own two iOS devices, we have Baby Monitor & Alarm app. It alarms by calling to the phone number you set. It also records sleep log, plays sweet dreams song or mum's voice. For this only one smartphone is required. (http://babymonitoralarm.info/)

To support wifi to 3g or 3g to 3g you have some server in the middle.

With a wifi->wifi connection I generally assume there's no server storing the pictures but what about when it's wifi -> 3g then?

What if I'm concerned about the pictures being retained?
