Back Black Bar moves

Hi everyone,

I have a 2012 MBA and the back black bar moves with some pressure from my hand. Is this normal?

It's plastic so I suppose some amount of flex or movement is ok. Make a video and share it with us here (via youtube?) so we can see what you mean?

I'll do that as soon as I have time, thanks for the idea! On a side note, does anybody know how to remove small scratches out of the aluminum ? Starting to think I got a damaged model lol

The only time i pushed it was when it was distorted

My 2011 Macbook Pro black bar would slide side-to-side. I don't think it is something to be worried about unless it is causing a problem or catching on something.
