I am new to Mac and searched for these questions in a few places, but have not found a good answer yet.

Is there any way to program a regular USB non-magic mouse to do the following:

1. Use the side button to go back to the previous screen.
2. Use the scroll wheel and a keyboard key to zoom the text of a page-- like the Command+ combination, not zoom like Control+scroll.

Thanks!

It is a Logitech 4 button mouse with a scroll wheel, and I have downloaded the Logitech software but the configuration options are limited. It does not permit the 4th button to be used as a back command, nor does it address the zoom feature.

Any other suggestons?

Same/different?
