has anyone else noticed this?
take a picture in OS4.0 beta3 and in the EXIF data it says "Back Camera" for Image Description.

example here - http://www.flickr.com/photos/ch3nks/4604156875/meta/

haven't seen this mentioned before, and pretty much confirms what we already know....

this was a picture i took, and then copied and pasted it into an email to upload direct to Flickr.
the only editing was done by Picnik to adjust the exposure a little.

That's a really awesome find!

It's too bad for you that all the prototypes have been found recently. This little secret would probably be front-page news if it weren't for those phones, spoiling everyone's fun!

just surprised that no-one else picked up on this before.

I'm wondering if it is cause I took the pic within the flickr app and uploaded via the app

That will be the reason.
You'll need to upload manually the original file and not the stripped version made available to apps

Same here

Emailed photos from my iPhone 4 to Flickr also auto complete description with Back Camera

Is there any way to switch this off?
