Just had a curious question about everyones back firewire port on their MacPro
mine is a MP2.66 i got last year in Feb 07.
Im using a ACD 30" and when i plugged the firewire port into it, it seemed a little hard to get in there as originally when i first "plugged" it in, it was not actually in/connected all the way so i was alittle worried it was damaged or got pushed back too far? i gently tested it the port itself but it wasnt loose at all and seemed more pushed in as opposed to the others on the front of the macpro and the back of the ACD.
if there was an issue with the FW port im assuming apple would have to replace the entire logic board just for that??
thanks!
