back function in categories

hey all,

i just setup my phone with categories and have a bunch of folders within folders to try and keep my home screen minimalistic.

I was wondering if when in one of these folders withing folders you are able to go back to the previous folder , it is very annoying to get sent straight back to home when using the home button , it would be nice to just back out of a folder without going all the way back to home,

any ideas of any apps or mods /settings i could use to achieve this
