A long time ago I never used cases on my phone and would use a "skin" on the back of my phone to protect from surface scratches on the glass?

other than a super slim case, is this still the best option for the back of the phone? If so where are you all getting your skins these days from?

Except for the glass ones that shatter, you can get a screen protector and cut it to shape (cut out the camera portion, for example).

$70 US for a back piece. Awesome.
It’s $45.

I thought they discontinued them?
Maybe? Sold out currently. Shame. Marco on ATP had a different brand that was the same thing, but I am blanking on what he went with.

I have the Nomad one and love it. It has three little pads of that reusable sticky stuff and a strong magnet. Keeps my camera button free so I don’t have to look for cases that have sapphire in them.

Should have written "$70 CAD." Add duty etc. and tariffs.

Apple used to sell a back glass tempered protector (like a screen protector but for the back) back when the iPhone Xʀ was current. I bought one, and it’s been there since day one. I wanted one for my 16 Plus but Apple stopped selling them at some point in the middle.

Decided to give this a shot, looks like good reviews and exactly what i'm looking for. Thank you!

I love my Suti PhoneBack, but I need to replace it after a year of sliding it in and out of my pocket (the silicone is shredding at the corner); and they have stopped making them for the regular models, they’re just available for the Pro :(

Looks like that similar Nomad product is also not available for my phone…

It’s such an ingenious idea, but so limited in terms of options; there aren’t even cheap knockoffs on Amazon like you’d expect.

In March of this year, I stopped using cases and used Süti for a little while. I’ve been using QSkinz since then and couldn’t be happier. I won’t use a case again.

Here is my quick review on the Suti (Clear phoneback).

It arrived with a few scuffs/scratches, I contacted Suti, they were highly responsive and fixed the situation really quickly. (hats off to customer service like that). Yes, I know it is bound to get scratched up quickly but for $50 cost it shouldn't be scratched right out of the gate.

with that said, it looks and feels great! The clear case is supposed to be highly scratch resistant, i have my doubts on this as I have already noticed a few added already. Its not even like i'm sliding it all over on desks, its either in my pocked (with nothing else around it like keys or anything) or just simply down on a table on its own.

The customer service is great, the ease of use i great, the form factor is great, magsafe works great still with it on....the price, while not so great I guess i understand the cost, hoping it lasts the 2-3 more years i will have my phone.

I have the clear Süti phone back as well and also had the same issue with the scratches. I too did not have any other object in the same pocket as my iPhone and am careful where I sit my iPhone down, and the case still sustained scratches. I have stopped using the case since April, and just happily use the skins with nothing added.

that's a bummer, i love the look/feel of the case overall otherwise,

what skins are you using? (what brand)
