I know that back module detachment in the first series Apple Watch is a topic that has had a number of previous threads, but I wonder if Apple has fixed the problem. Has anyone had the back module fall off their Series 2 Apple Watch?

It was an adhesive issue for the first Gen Watch primarily with the Sport model. Apple never announced a recall for the issue. But some forum members have had free replacements. I have heard very issues, if any with the stainless model.

The back fell off my stainless Series One. I took it to an Apple Store here in Boston yesterday. The tech said Apple had just issued a tech paper on that problem, but he hadn't read it yet. He disappeared into the back and when he returned he said that they would replace my Watch. This was surprising as it's at least a year out of warranty. Apparently it's a known issue under silent recall.
