Before I decide weather to get the new mini I will need to see how it looks. The only thing I found was the comparison of features.

But I would still like to see pics of the back. What ports etc. But I cannot find any pics of the back. Will it be the same as the 2018s?

For your reference. It’s got 2 USB4 .

Thanks for the quick reply. I see they removed the sd slot.

And also only 2 C ports this time. 2018 had 4. Wonder why as there is clearly space there for 4.

Seriously...? I went to the Apple website, clicked on 'Mac', then 'Mac mini', scolled about 3/4 or so of the way down that page & there was a very large image of the back, with all the ports & such labeled...!

They removed the SD slot when they updated to the Space Grey model...?

That is bad. I hope M2 supports more than 2 ports. Or at least a hub.

Yes, the previous update removed the SD slot. I have that one, tho not for long, gonna give the MBA a try and the trade in on the base mini 2018 is $330.

Not really bad, because this particular Mac mini is designed to replace the i3 version (which has been discontinued); now, that model DID have four TB ports, but the limit here is the M1 & it's single TB controller...

There will be more variants of the M1; M1X, M1Z, M1P for the Pro line-up...?

Or might they go tongue-in-cheek & call the next step up the M1B, B for Bloomberg...? ;^p

But yeah, there should be three or four variants of the M1, those top two (the ones for the Pro line-up) should be coming in 2022...?

My 2014 is offering 150 at apple. Not bad.

So then I guess I will wait. And then this model will be cheaper when new ones come out. But then my tradein will also be less.

I do not see pricing of the three initial M1 Macs going down when models with more powerful variants of the M1 are released...
