Back to my Mac problems

Since upgrading my iMac to Mavericks, I can't seem to get screen sharing to work with Back to My Mac. I can see the iMac from my (AEBS) Internal Network, but not from the outside world.

None of my settings have changed, but is there something in different in Mavericks I need to set it get it working correctly?

Argh: Switched off Back to My Mac on both machines, restarted, switched on Back to My Mac on both machines, it worked.

I'm still having intermittent issues with Back to My Mac failing frequently when not on the same network.

I can't even find my machine any more from outside. Which is frustrating, because I print labels from my laptop back to my warehouse for dispatch.
