In my first attempt at copying a file using Back to my Mac while on the road, I was wildly unsuccessful. I connected just fine, but when trying to copy my file I could not get better than 60 KB/s. That won't cut it for a 1 GB file.

I got the same speed copying it off of my Mac Mini, or by copying it to my Time Capsule first.

I tried via FTP and got the exact same results.

Speedtest.net says I should be good for 400KB/s up.

Any suggestions?

I'm currently getting the file by other means (not via my home machine) and am seeing 1000 KB/s down (so my current location shouldn't be the bottleneck).
