Back to school campaign advanced question

I purchased a Macbook pro retina in Japan and still got like 2 weeks more time of delivery. Since I'm swedish and living in my japan my itunes account is still set up in Swedish adress. Can I still get the code (active campaign in sweden) even thou I'm studying in college here in japan (note campaign here is over for this year).

I'm gonna call the aplle store later today or tomorrow to ask them also and check in about order but it would be nice if someone else has tje same kind of experience.

Call anyway, but I imagine that because you bought the computer in Japan where the promotion isn't running, you won't be eligible for the gc. In Sweden can you do the rebate online? If so, give that a shot and see what happens.

I actually read the term now from the swedish page and it said that you need to buy it from the store that actually has the campaign ongoing. But hey I'll look for a loophole after I called apple to ask.
