Any fellow students here psyched up for back to school? Or for me more like "back to school part two second semester" :p .. i dunno, its like a surreal feeling.. being in college i will once again enter classrooms where i know no one and no one knows me.. so its like the first day of school all over again.. boo ya.

how are ya'll settling in for going back to school? or if you are already there, that's insanely great! hah:rolleyes:

I'm always excited to go back to school. Mainly because that means I get to move 2 hours away from home again, and I really like Jacksonville better than my hometown. I've been up here for 2 weeks now and it's been great. Hope you have a good return!

I'm already back. One week under my belt. In my major after the first year or so most of your classes you know at least half the people. Then again, gen eds are different...

Been back since Wednesday. Let me tell you I never thought a Masters program would be this hard.
:(

i feel your pain.

Im currently writing my thesis and its 1:37am Eastern right now.... so tiiired, its been this way for days. on a bright note (or the reason I am still awake and writing is), I have a job lined up March 1 and cant wait to buy a new car!!

I'm just starting my third week of second semester. It's been great! So far I've had fraternity initiation, I got a single room, and I even managed to work a 4 day weekend in Chicago into my schedule.

Good luck to everybody this semester!

I start my final semester tomorrow. Operating Systems, Networking, and TAing for Algorithms. I'll be glad when it's over I think. I'm tired of the school nonsense. :p

Starting my second week here: European Politics, Public Policy, Politics + Statitics, and French...

Methinks I'll be spread a bit thin if you factor in work...Just 3 more semesters until graduate school....

the frats and sorority's at my college are dumb.. you have to pay your way in to get accepted. hence i did not want to join, amongst other reasons.. what was your "initiation" like?

I've been back for 2 weeks. But I'm in a different boat than what this thread seems to be about. I'm working on my 3rd last term of Grad School. So I put in 44+ hours of work a week and have 3 hours of class + 3-5 hours of homework/project work, on top of my wife and 14.5 month old at home.

I am usually not happy to be back since the breaks are the little bit of time through the year when I have my evenings and weekends to sit back and relax. When class is on, even when I take an evening and relax I always have the nagging feeling that I am procrastinating (which I usually am).

I greatly enjoyed my undergrad though and often wish I had taken another semester/year to graduate...

Don't you have to pay for every "Greek" organization?

And I don't think he's allowed to tell us about his initiation...

Third week of spring term just started here. Despite the fact that I purposely built in more free time to my schedule, I don't really have any more. Oh well, learning's good, right? Right?! Ah, the torments of double-majoring/double-minoring!

I started again last week. Not excited. Looking forward to getting out.
