Back to School - iPod Refresh in time for UK promotion?

Hi there.

People are generally saying that the iPods will probably be updated after the Back to School promo ends...

But I'm thinking that people are generally basing this on the US offer, which has started already and I believe ends Sep 15th.

BUT, here in the UK, the offer hasn't started yet. I even asked someone who worked in an Apple store, and he said it might even start around September. Hopefully Apple will run the offer for as long as it went on in the USA...

So with that in mind, is it possible that during the time of the promo here in the UK, the iPods will see a refresh? And will the offer be updated to reflect this? Has it happened before?

i'm not 100% sure but i think that last year the promo was so late that it did include new nanos.

definately yes, although I wonder if we'll see iPod touches.

Yep it didn't start until after the new ipods came out. I got the new nano with my imac.

It's looking like the same will happen this year. (I'm hoping the new macbook pros will be out in time as well, double the greatness.)
