Back to School Promo on Refurbs

I'm looking at buying a refurbished MBP, and was wondering if any one knew if the back to school promo generally applied to refurbs, or if it was just on new purchases.

It's only on new purchases, not on refurbs

I agree. In the past, the BTS deal has been for new purchases only. I doubt Apple will change the policy this time around, but check the terms anyway.

it may work out better for you to buy a refurb and use the savings to buy the iPod. I don't know what the prices are these days, but it might be something to consider.

Yea, I was going to sell the ipod, and it looks like it'd be about the same price after I sold the ipod.
