All iPads Back To School/Student Promo?

So, I'm about to start classes for Surgical Tech and need a tablet. I'm considering both the iPad and the Surface, though I believe the iPad would have more/better apps so I'll probably go with it.

I was just wondering... aren't there usually "back to school" promo's around this time that'll help me?

There will be, Apple just hasn't announced their back to school offer just quite yet.

I'd say its a little premature since schools are just getting out now, that is why advertise back to school specials when school hasn't even finished up yet.

Each country varies its promotional dates, but the US and UK usually launch the Back to School promotion around now. The rumour is that they should be launching next Tuesday. The exact promotion hasn't been confirmed but it is likely to be a £35 ($50) iTunes voucher for iPads/iPhones and £70 ($100) for Macs.
