I know Apple mentioned it a while ago to launch in June, I don't think they said an exact date, should be soon, best of luck on your purchase.

Once the Back to School event starts it will be the time to pick up a Mac--the iPod rebate (presumably, anyway), printer rebate, and Lion for free when it is released . . .

I'm waiting myself as well. Once it starts, I'm selling my Mac Pro 1,1 from 2007.

Can't wait to sell the iPod too (useless).

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure that the last few years it has started in late May. People assumed WWDC when it didn't start when it has in the past.
