Hi!

I back up all my songs to an external hard drive, but it doesn't seem to copy the album artwork.

Do I have to search for them in another place? If so, where can I find them?

Thanks!

In the iTunes library

Hi,

It might be easier to copy your entire iTunes library to the backup volume, rather than just the music.

However, if you are looking for the artwork, go to your home directory, then to:

Music/iTunes/Album Artwork

Hope this helps.

Always :)!

But now I'm wondering, when I download songs from Beatport or Dance-Tunes, I just have to add the song to my library and it immediately has the album artwork.
I can also see a little picture of the artwork in the icon in the Finder next to the song before it's added to the library, so this must mean you can store the album artwork within the song?
So wouldn't it be sufficient that I just back up my entire song library?

Of course I'm gonna back up the iTunes folder also, I have a lot of playlists which I don't want to lose. But I just want to make sure in case anything goes wrong.
